Investment Retrievers believes in giving back to our local community and our management and staff enjoy participating in charitable efforts in our local community. As part of our commitment to the community, our team has decided to continue our participation in the Holiday Angel Program through the Children’s Receiving Home of Sacramento.

Abused and neglected children have made their wish lists for Santa, and Investment Retrievers has sponsored 25 children in hopes of bringing some light into their lives during the holiday season.

In a letter received from Children’s Receiving Home of Sacramento they reinforced the impact our efforts have had on the children. “Your gifts matter and may very well become one our kid’s greatest treasures. They are a very physical reminder that someone – a stranger – cared for them, even when those that should have been there for them weren’t.”

Thank you to the Children’s Receiving Home of Sacramento for being such a positive influence in our community, and we look forward to continuing to participate in your efforts in the future.

Children’s Receiving Home of Sacramento

The Children’s Receiving Home was founded in 1944 through a cooperative effort of the Junior League of Sacramento and the Rotary Club of Sacramento. Previously at two other locations, the Children’s Receiving Home has been located at its current site since 1965, on six acres of land deeded to the agency by the City of Sacramento.

In recent years the Children’s Receiving Home underwent major renovation and addition of cottages and a multipurpose building made possible through the generosity of donors in our area. Today the Receiving Home houses up to 98 children on a beautiful, state of the art facility.
