Summer is a busy time for everyone, and for those in the Receivables Management industry, summertime also means time to get together for the RMA Executive Summit. This year’s event was hosted at Resort at Squaw Creek in Lake Tahoe, California and was labeled by attendees as the best conference they had been to for years.
This year’s Receivables Management Association (RMA) Executive Summit offered attendees and scenic location, powerful education material and great opportunities to catch up with industry friends or network to build new relationships. Attendees found time to enjoy the activities available throughout Lake Tahoe, including boating, golf, horseback riding, photography and much more.
“The RMA Executive Summit provides unique networking opportunities for attendees” said the Chief Acquisition Officer and RMA Board Member, Adam Parks. “At other conferences, I find myself running between meetings and only getting a quick opportunity to say hello to others while passing in the halls. The Executive Summit is a more relaxed atmosphere where I find opportunities to build relationships with the people that I have known casually for years.”
Beyond networking, the RMA Executive Summit offers informative educational sessions focused on changes in the industry since the annual conference in February. “The Executive Summit is a great chance to get an update on challenges that everyone is facing in our industry, ” said the Chief Compliance Officer, Lexi Knight. “It is a mid-year update, and with smaller sessions, there is a lot of opportunities to have questions answered by the speakers. The interactivity makes the sessions enjoyable, and enables me to walk away with the best understanding of each topic.”
