FIVE Easy Steps to Use Western Union Quick Collect by Phone
- Determine that you have a Visa or Mastercard in good standing. The following credit cards are accepted for payment via telephone:
- Call Western Union at 1-800-634-3422. (Press 2 to send Q/C payment). You MUST call from your home or office phone.
- You will be asked to provide the following information:
- Pay to: INVESTMENT RETRIEVERS (same as Quick Collect)
- Code City & State: ELDO, CA (same as Quick Collect)
- Your Account Number With Investment Retrievers (a six-digit number - example:(12345-9))
- Dollar Amount of Payment You Wish to Make
- Credit Card Number and Expiration Date
- Name of Bank that Issued the Credit Card
- Facts You Should Know about Paying Western Union Quick Collect by Phone:
- Maximum of $2,000 on One Quick Collect by Phone Transaction
- There is a Fee for the Service (See Chart Below) you choose.
- Some Banks May Treat This as a Cash Advance and Charge Fees and/or Interest Accordingly.
- The Transaction Will Appear on your Credit Card Statement As: "Western Union Quick Collect 800-634-3422 ($Total Dollar Amount)"
- You Must Ask the Western Union Operator for their 10 Digit Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN) - Starts with "897"
(Unlike regular Quick Collect this MTCN is conditional upon Western Union's final acceptance of the transaction. Additional validation of the transaction takes places once the customer hangs up.)
- QUICK COLLECT BY PHONE is NOT Offered to Consumers Calling From the Following States: Colorado / Connecticut / Florida / Kansas / Maine / Massachusetts / Minnesota / New York / Oklahoma
